Dede came into my life in
1995. She is a repeat of the breeding that produced Buddy, but she is nothing
like her brother! Dede is a free spirit and has always done things her way.
She had lots of fun in the show ring but her antics didn’t always impress the
judges who wanted to see a dog gait instead of turn back flips on the lead. An
accident with a car led to a shoulder injury and loss of teeth and that was the
end of her show career, before she could finish her championship.
In the
spring of 1999 I bred Dede to CH Phi-Vestavia Nautilus. She produced three
beautiful puppies. Dede is now retired and living high at the home of Blair and
Brett Skipper in Virginia Beach.
